1. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use FareBuild:

  • Account information: email, name, operator name
  • Operational data: aircraft specifications, pricing, client details, quotes
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, error logs

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the FareBuild service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Data is stored on Google Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL) hosted in Australia. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Authentication is handled via Firebase Auth.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account cancellation, you may export your data for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

5. Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles (APP) and GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Firebase ID token). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Google Cloud SQL — database hosting

9. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account cancellation:

  • You may export your data (quotes, clients, aircraft) for 30 days via CSV/JSON
  • After 30 days, all account data is permanently deleted from our database
  • Stripe billing records are retained by Stripe per their own retention policy
  • Anonymised usage logs (no PII) may be retained for analytics for up to 12 months

10. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (fb-token) for authentication. This cookie is set when you sign in and is required for the application to function. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used.

By signing in, you consent to the use of this essential cookie. You can withdraw consent at any time by signing out, which removes the cookie.
